Version 5

The first cause is non-deterministic because it does not have a deterministic cause.

The first cause is the source of everything, so it created mathematics and logic.

It created functions with mathematics and logic.

It combined its non-determinism and function generation.

It created functions non-deterministically, and those functions interfered and interacted to cause survival of the fittest and evolution.

I think all of these processes are the actions of an intelligent being.

Version 4

Premise: The First Cause possesses a purpose.

Having no deterministic cause, the First Cause is non-deterministic.

As the First Cause is non-deterministic and purposeful, it possesses free will.

Possessing free will precludes omniscience.

Due to its lack of omniscience, it cannot create a perfect outcome from the outset.

Consequently, it employs the method of evolution.

The purpose is to bring about a universe wherein functions evolve.

To create these functions, it first establishes the foundations of mathematics and logic.

It then generates a variety of functions non-deterministically, in accordance with its nature.

These functions interact and interfere, resulting in a 'survival of the fittest' and giving rise to evolution.

As the First Cause is by definition eternal, this evolutionary process can continue infinitely.

Through this infinite evolution, a supremely advanced being (or beings) eventually emerges.
