Slow-speed media follow fast-speed media so today's most media transfer extremely concise information, and our brains fill with the concise information in flood. But our brains cannot accept all information because we are not so smart. Seeing this, the old saying "too much is as bad as too little" comes into my mind. In the information environment of today, media prevail which have so short contents that become cost-effective information sources.

Because media which are slow tend to tag along fast ones, currently most of the media deliver tabloid articles. These abridged facts trigger a kind of 'Information Flood'. And, because of our limited information processing abilities, people can't get needed news and knowledge. Considering this situation, a phrase, "100 squids < One Bean" came into my head. Although, all things in modern civilization seek cost-effectiveness, searching and accepting information, I believe, should be e an exception.
