Randall Jones, Korea desk head at the OECD, said the current focus on rote learning, placing almost no value on analysis, creative thinking or practical application, bodes ill for the future.

초반에 한국 교육을 오바마가 좋아하며 현재의 한국까지 이르게 하였지만 창의력 없는 암기성 교육떄문에 낮은 생산성과 GDP의 부정적인 성장을 보여주었다고 합니다.

고로 한국의 교육에 대한 개혁은 생산성의 향상을 위해 반드시 일어나야 한다는 글입니다.

현재 우리나라 교육에 대한 외국의 시선이며 교육정도는 핀란드를 이어 2위지만 인적자원레벨은 낮습니다. 자정을 넘어 학원을 다니며 많은 양의 사교육을 투자함은 전세계적으로 유명한 한국 교육의 현실이지만 그에 비해 낮은 생산성은 한국 교육이 낮다는 것을 절실히 보여줍니다.

우리나라의 교육과 창의력과 실질적인 유용성을 겸비한 교육이 되기를 바랍니다.
