흔히, 왼쪽 개념에서 차이성이 강조될 경우 긍정적 개념이고

미시성이 강조될 경우 부정적 개념이 됩니다.

반대로, 오른쪽 개념에서 동일성이 강조될 경우 부정적 개념이고

거시성이 강조될 경우 긍정적 개념이 됩니다.

또한, 69평에서는 주로 차이성(미시성)이 강조되고

수능에서는 주로 거시성(동일성)이 강조되는 경향이 있습니다.

* 빈칸추론 풀이원칙

1. 상반부 빈칸은 주체를 잡는다.

2. 하반부 빈칸은 의도를 잡는다.

3. 병렬 문장을 잡는다.

4. 강조역접과 비교급에 주목한다. (+it that 강조구문)

5. 설정된 비교집단과 비교한다.

* 강조 역접이란 무엇인가?

- 글의 방향을 뒤집는 것이 아닌, 강조를 위한 역접

예) 얼굴 ㅈㄴ 중요하긴 하지!

그러나, 얼굴이 다는 아니자나?

꼭 강조 역접 형식이 아니더라도

A가 아니긴한데.. 중요한건 B라는 거지!

이런 문장은 무조건 중요합니다!

자, 들어가시죠!

1. 생각해보기

밑줄의미 유형은 <나에서 남 중심 태도로의 변화/ 남에서 나 중심 태도로의 변화>로 고정되는 것일까?!

2. 중요문장(강조된 문장)

= But even though it feels reassuring for individuals to be hyperconnected, it’s better for the organization if they periodically go off and think for themselves and generate diverse ―if not quite mature ―ideas.

3. 위 문장이 중요한 이유 : 강조역접, 비교급

4. 빈칸유형처럼 풀기 : 주체인 leader를 잡고 리더의 역할(positioned to)에 대한 문장을 찾는다.

Many aspects of human culture have what archaeologists describe as low archaeological visibility, meaning they are difficult to identify archaeologically. 인간사회는 비가시적(무형적)이고, 이는 파악을 힘들게 한다네요!

Archaeologists tend to focus on tangible (or material) aspects of culture: things that can be handled and photographed, such as tools, food, and structures. 고고학자들은 유형적 요소에 집중한다네요!

The researchers concluded that distraction through television viewing can effectively relieve the discomfort associated with painful failures or mismatches between the self and self-guides. In contrast, successful participants had little wish to be distracted from their self-related thoughts! 결론부입니다. 실패했다고 피드백 받은 사람은 안정을 찾기 위해 TV를 오래 보고, 성공했다고 피드백 받은 사람들은 TV를 별로 보고 싶어하지 않은 거였네요!

하지만, 강조역접, it that 강조구문, only의 강조표현에 반응하였다면 쉽게 풀 수 있습니다.

34번은 강조역접이 2번이나 쓰인 지문입니다. 쉽게 풀 수 있으니 해설은 안 하겠습니다.

상반부 빈칸이므로 주체인 animal이 학습을 통해 뭘 할 수 있는지 파악하고자 하면 됩니다.
